BIRTH TO SEVEN CERTIFICATE

OUR FULL TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAM
This low-residency program is structured over three years. Four residential summer sessions “bookend” the program, with residential weeks during the school years. Embedded in the program design are:
-
a practicum/classroom experience;
-
mentoring with an experienced Waldorf early childhood educator;
-
a collegial approach that builds connections within each cohort and beyond;

The course takes 37 months to complete. New sessions start each summer.

Our students work together through experiential activity, artistic development, practical classroom experience, reflective discussion, together with enlivening and stimulating presentations of content.

Tuition for 2023 cohort is $22,290. Click here for payment schedule.
WECAN Membership - Full Member Institute
The Sophia’s Hearth Teacher Education Program is recognized as a full member of WECAN.
