Understanding Children's Behaviors 1
Understanding Children's Behaviors and How to Work with them from Toddler to Kindergarten Age - Part 1
November 14, 2015 Tution $99
We will explore imitation from a Spacial Dynamics® point of view. Imitation is a foundational tool for the early childhood teacher, and unfortunately it is largely misunderstood and underused. Children will benefit immensely from a teacher well steeped in a rich and full understanding of imitation. Importantly, we will also learn to recognize when we are not using imitation. We will explore the relationship between imitation and self-initiated learning for the healthy development of the will. Case studies will be given, and there will be ample time for discussion and questions.
