Early Childhood - Lead Teacher

The Apple Blossom School & Family Center is seeking a full time Early Childhood Lead Teacher for the 2021-22 school year. The position can begin as early as June 2021.

Qualifications: A warm and open disposition with the ability to care for children of mixed ages. Eagerness to learn about Apple Blossom and Waldorf education. Waldorf Education Certification from an approved program, or in the process of obtaining certification. Several years of classroom experience preferred.

Requirements: A Bachelor or Masters degree and Waldorf teacher training certificate or in the process of obtaining certification. The ability to meet Connecticut OEC licensing requirements, including yearly professional development, as well as ability to pass a CT criminal background check. Apple Blossom Waldorf School and Family Center is a full member of WECAN, located in Wilton, Connecticut, “a lovely piece of heaven in a bustling world.” In its 17th year the School and Family Center is expanding and moving to a larger home down the road.
